Nokia 3.1 Plus spotted on TENAA, Expected to Launch in China Soon
The Nokia 3.1 will be coming to the Chinese market. This news is courtesy of leak on TENAA pointing to its arrival in China. Apart from features and specifications, other details including availability and pricing are still unknown.
Nokia seems to be on a roll when it comes to launching smartphones. The company is scheduled to launch its Nokia 7. 1 Plus smartphone on the 16th of October. It seems like that isn’t the end of the line when it comes to HMD Global. The Nokia 3.1 Plus which launched in India not too long ago is now going to be released in China. This leaked and fortunate piece of information comes from TENAA. The Nokia 3.1 Plus is the successor to the Nokia 3.1 and was spotted on TENAA bearing the model number of TA-1117.
Nokia 3.1 Plus Arriving Soon In China
The Chinese smartphone market is getting even bigger as now even the Nokia 3.1 Plus is headed its way! The device was launched a little while back in India and has proved to be quite a competitive budget-oriented smartphone. So, what powers this little beast of a budget smartphone?
The Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone sports a 6.0-inch display with a decent HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Fortunately or unfortunately, Nokia has stayed away from a characteristic feature of most 2018 smartphone, the controversial notch. The Nokia 3.1 Plus doesn’t have a notched display and has the typical bezels seen on most smartphones before 2018. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. This is an octa-core CPU running at a base frequency of 1.5GHz with a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz.
As of now, only the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is being sold in India. There is a 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant as well, which may make its way to China. However, 2GB RAM is perhaps the bare minimum for smartphones these days and not particularly something to be considered. Luckily, it does support storage expansion of up to 400GB via a microSD card. In the camera department, the smartphone boasts a 13MP+5MP dual-rear camera setup and an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter.
The Nokia 3.1 is fueled by a 3,500mAh battery, runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and is currently priced at Rs 11,499 in India. The device is expected to arrive soon in China but the exact date and price still remain a mystery!
