Both the handsets are priced under Rs 15,000 in the country and boast some standard specifications, to be honest. To start with Nokia 3.4, the handset offers an HD+ display along with Snapdragon 460 SoC, triple rear cameras, and more. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999, which puts it against the likes of POCO M2 and Micromax In Note 1 smartphones. Both of them offer one of the best value-for-money propositions in this segment currently. So, the question here is, can the Nokia 3.4 be able to compete against the titans of the budget segment? The 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage option comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999. The Micromax In Note 1 price in India starts at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage, while 4GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499. That said, the POCO M3 emerges as a clear winner as it offers better RAM and ROM option as compared to both the other phones. Furthermore, Nokia 3.4 is the most expensive unit among the three considering its RAM and storage option.

Coming to the design, all three smartphones offer a different design language. The Nokia 3.4 offers a polycarbonate finish that is topped with 3D nano texture to give a premium look. The smartphone also features a punch-hole cutout at the front for the selfie camera. The POCO M3 offers bold colours along with leather-like texture finish at the back panel. There is a big rectangular unit at the top that houses the camera module and the POCO branding. Coming to the Micromax In Note 1 offers an X-shaped pattern at the rear panel, which looks similar to the Honor 9X. However, it still gives a premium look when you hold in hands. That said, all three smartphones offer some interesting designs, which looks different from the other competitors.

The Micromax In Note 1 packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. That said, both the smartphones not only deliver bigger screens, they also give you higher screen resolution.

The Micromax In Note 1 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor along with 4GB o fRAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. All the three handset runs on Android 10 operating system. In Note 1 and Nokia 3.4 offers you stock Android experience, while the POCO M3 comes with MIUI 12.
This is where the competition gets really tough, but not between Nokia 3.4 and other two handsets. The Snapdragon 460 chipset looks like an underdog when compared to the Snapdragon 662 or Helio G85 processor. The Nokia 3.4 might deliver some smooth performance in day-to-day tasks, but it lacks the power to perform heavy-duty tasks. The real competition is between POCO M3 and Micromax In Note 1. The MediaTek Helio G85 processor will give you slightly better performance when it comes to gaming, while the Snapdragon 662 is known for its efficiency.

In terms of cameras, the Nokia 3.4 packs a triple-camera setup with a combination of 13MP primary lens, 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Micromax In Note 1 comes with a quad-camera setup with 48MP primary lens, 5MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth shooter. On the front, the handset comes with a 16MP selfie shooter. That said, once again the Nokia 3.4 is far behind in the camera department when as the other two phones offer much better camera prowess. The POCO M3 packs a 6, POCO M3 is juiced up by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The Micromax IN Note 1 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Nokia 3.4 offers a 4,000mAh battery and that’s it. There is no fast charging on this smartphone, which certainly raises some important questions.
