HMD Global is reportedly in the works to launch its Nokia 5.3 smartphone in India this month. If reports have to be believed, the Nokia 5.3 smartphone will be unveiled in the country on August 25, 2020. While that has not yet been made official, we now have a working clue as to which RAM variant of the Nokia 5.3 will make its way to Indian soil. As per a new report, the Nokia 5.3 will launch in India in a 4GB RAM variant and a 6GB RAM variant. Nokia 5.3 RAM variants revealed ahead of Indian launch

Spotted first by NokiaMob, the Indian product page for the Nokia 5.3 has now removed the 3GB RAM option for the Nokia 5.3. Earlier, the page has 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM variants listed on the device and now, only the 4GB variant and the 6GB variant are left. Coming to the specifications of the device, the Nokia 5.3 has a 6.55-inch HD+ panel with a waterdrop notch on the top of it. The waterdrop notch makes room for an 8MP selfie snapper. Moving around the rear of the device, the Nokia 5.3 has a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Also at the back, there is a physical fingerprint scanner.


Under the hood, the Nokia 5.3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage, which has scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card. On the software side of things, the Nokia 5.3 reports the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Coming to the battery of the device, the Nokia 5.3 has a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
