Last year, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 5.3 smartphone in the global market. The Nokia 5.3 is a mid-range smartphone, which features a 6.55-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, and a 4,000mAh battery. So far, the device was yet to make its way to India and now, it turns out it is going to do just the same. A new leak has popped up on the internet, which suggests that the Nokia 5.3 will launch in India later this month. Alongside the Nokia 5.3, the brand is also reportedly going to launch 2 more smartphones in the country. Take a look at the leak surrounding the Nokia 5.3 smartphone’s Indian launch.
Nokia 5.3 to launch in India in August alongside 2 more phones
The leak came up exclusively via The Mobile Indian. As per the leak, the company will launch not only the Nokia 5.3 smartphone, but will also come up with 2 more devices in India. The actual date of the device is not finalized yet. Just to recall, the Nokia 5.3 was launched way back in 2019 alongside the Nokia 8.3 5G and has so far remained unavailable in the Indian markets. The device is available in the European market at an asking price of EUR 189, which roughly translates to somewhere around INR 15,000. We can, however, expect the price to be lower than that when it launches in India.
Coming to the specifications of the device, the Nokia 5.3 features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the Nokia 5.3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory, which can be expanded further with the help of an external SD card.
In the camera department, the Nokia 5.3 has a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, the device has an 8MP selfie snapper. To learn more about the specifications and features of the Nokia 5.3, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
