Nokia 5.3 with Snapdragon 665 SoC and Nokia C3 2020 with 5.99-inch HD+ Display Launched in India: Price, Sale Date

The vendor has launched two new feature phones, called Nokia 150 and Nokia 125, in India.


Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 2020 have been launched in India as the brand’s latest affordable and budget smartphones respectively. The Nokia 5.3, which was globally unveiled back in March, debuts in the country with waterdrop-notch screen and quad camera setup in a circular module at the back. The handset also touts Snapdragon 665 SoC and respectable 4,000mAh battery. As for Nokia C3 2020, it highlights an HD+ display with traditional 18:9 aspect ratio and an octa-core chipset. Both phones run a stock version of Android 10 out of the box and sport a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, Nokia also refreshed its feature phone lineup in India with the launch of Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 phones.

Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 2020: Price in India

The Nokia 5.3 India price has been set at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, while the 6GB + 64GB storage variant costs Rs 15,499. The handset comes in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colour options. The handset is available for pre-booking starting from today and will go on sale in India from September 1st via and Nokia e-store across the country.

The Nokia C3 2020, on the other hand, sports a sticker price of Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,999 for the respective 2GB and 3GB RAM options. The handset will go on sale in the country starting September 17th from major offline stores and Nokia e-store in Nordic Blue and Sand colours.

As for Nokia 125 and Nokia 150, they’ll set you back to Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,299 respectively. The features phones will be available for sale in the country from August 25th onwards via both offline and online stores.

Nokia 5.3: Specifications and Features

The Nokia 5.3 ships with a 6.5-inch display that bears waterdrop notch and HD+ resolution. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer atop. At the core of the handset lies Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The phone is driven by a 4,000mAh battery that is rated to last up to two days between charge. Software-wise, the Nokia 5.3 boots Android 10 out of the box.

The Nokia 5.3 other specifications include quad camera setup, comprising 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens for close up shots at the back. The front camera of the phone gets an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. There is a fingerprint sensor for security, and in terms of connectivity, the Nokia 5.3 features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, aptX, and NFC.

Nokia C3 2020: Specifications and Features

The Nokia C3 specifications include a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, an octa-core chipset coupled with up to 3GB RAM and up to 32GB user-expandable storage, 3,040mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. For photography, the handset bears an 8MP main primary camera at the back and a 5MP sensor up front for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The Nokia C3 runs Android 10 OS out of the box to take care of software side of things and features a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Nokia 125 and Nokia 150: Specifications and Features

The new Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 are feature phones from the brand with dual SIM support and 2G connectivity. Both handsets feature a non-touchscreen 2.4-inch screen, a ‘large ergonomic’ keypad, wireless FM radio support, and classic Snake and other great try-and-buy games. The Nokia 125 is also studded with a torch and a ‘long-lasting’ battery. There’s enough storage to save up to 2,000 contacts and up to 500 SMS messages on the phone.

The Nokia 150, meanwhile, has 32GB expandable storage support and a VGA camera with flash at the back. The phone also touts Bluetooth to wirelessly share files among peers.
