HMD Global has scheduled an event today, December 5. The company flew eight fans to Dubai to witness the new product launches. Hence we expect Nokia 8.1 to launch at the event. Interestingly, there could be one more product launch, but details are a little scarce.
According to consistent reports, the Nokia 8.1 is set to launch today in Dubai, and could arrive in India on December 10. Incidentally, HMD Global launched the capable Nokia X7 in China recently. Subsequently, a leaked promotional video surfaced. The teaser video does not categorically mention the device as Nokia 8.1. However, there are several clues and hints that indicate the Nokia X7 could launch as Nokia 8.1 outside China. MSP Gear recently predicted that the next phone Nokia will launch is Nokia 8.1, and that it is the same device that was being referred to as Phoenix by Nokia.
Now HMD Global has an event in Dubai. We strongly believe Nokia 8.1 will officially launch outside China, where it is selling very well as Nokia X7. There are several interesting aspects about the international version of the capable Nokia Android One handset.
