HMD Global has finally launched its first-ever 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3 5G. The Nokia 8.3 5G is supposed to be a premium mid-range smartphone that comes with 5G connectivity. The company aims to provide its customers with an affordable 5G smartphone. The Nokia 8.3 5G comes with a punch-hole selfie snapper, is equipped with a Snapdragon 765 processor, and has a 64MP primary camera. Well, without waiting any further, let’s take a look at the price, availability, specifications, and features of the Nokia 8.3 5G handset.

Nokia 8.3 5G: Price and Availability

The Nokia 8.3 5G is launched in two memory variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is priced at EUR 599 (roughly around Rs 47,800) and one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at EUR 649 (roughly around Rs 52,000). Although the company has not revealed a launch date for the device, it has said that the Nokia 8.3 5G will go on sale in Europe this summer. For now, the brand has not said anything about the launch of the Nokia 8.3 5G in India.

Nokia 8.3 5G: Specifications and Features

Starting things off with the display of the device, the Nokia 8.3 5G flaunts a 6.8-inch PureDisplay panel, which comes with a Full HD+ resolution and an always-on HDR support. The display of the device features a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which is located in the top left corner. Speaking of, the Nokia 8.3 5G sports a 24MP selfie shooter.

Moving around on the back of the device, which is made of all-glass, by the way, the Nokia 8.3 5G features a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens (with 4K UHD support), a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The ZEISS quad rear camera focuses on video recording and low-light camera performance. The device comes with a ZEISS cinematic effect, which gives users more control over the video capture. The Nokia 8.3 5G features a Nordic Premium design and is available in a Polar Night color variant.

Under the hood, the Nokia 8.3 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G platform, which is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. If that amount of storage does not suffice for your media needs, the same can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card. On the software side of things, the Nokia 8.3 5G ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which should not come as a surprise to anyone, as the device belongs to the Android One lineup. You can certainly expect frequent updates to knock on the Nokia 8.3 5G’s door, at least for 2 years as that’s guaranteed.

In terms of battery life, the Nokia 8.3 5G is fueled by a large 4,500mAh battery, which has support for 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port located at the bottom.
