Nokia recently launched its first-ever 5G smartphone, dubbed the Nokia 8.3 5G. Alongside the Nokia 8.3, the brand also unveiled a bunch of other smartphones, including the Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3 to name a few. Recently, we received a report which suggested that HMD Global might be planning to launch more Snapdragon 765-based smartphones in the coming times as the cost of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor is relatively high. That, however, does not appear to be the case for long. A new report has now popped up on the internet, which suggests that the Nokia 9.2 or the Nokia 9.3 Pureview smartphone is still in the works and is likely to launch in 2020 itself. However, the launch date of the device may be delayed from mid-2020 to late H2, 2020. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has also had a severe impact on the supply chain, so the report holds a good amount of weight.
Nokia 9.2: Launch Date Might be Delayed
As per a report from NokiaPowerUser, HMD Global might launch the Nokia 9.2 (or 9.3) PureView smartphone by the end of 2020 and is certainly not going to do it anytime soon. The H1 2020 launch timeline has reportedly been readjusted for several reasons. Nevertheless, the source has a separate page where it has mentioned the leaked specifcations of the Nokia 9.2 PureView smartphone.

As per the leaked spec sheet of the device, the Nokia 9.2 PureView will feature a 6.29-inch QHD+ P-OLED display with a 2K resolution. The display of the device will reportedly be protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Nokia 9.2 PureView is said to feature an on-display fingerprint scanner. The body of the Nokia 9.2 PureView will be made of an Aluminum frame and a glass body.
Under the hood, the Nokia 9.2 PureView is said to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of onboard memory. It is unclear as to whether or not the Nokia 9.2 PureView will have scope for storage expansion. As far as software is concerned, the Nokia 9.2 PureView will most likely ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box.

Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Nokia 9.2 PureView is said to feature a multi-lens camera module at the back. The camera will feature Zeiss optics. At the front, the Nokia 9.2 PureView is tipped to sport a 32MP selfie snapper with a display flash.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Nokia 9.2 PureView is tipped to feature a 4,500mAh battery, which will have support for Qi wireless charging. The device will most likely sport wireless charging via a USB Type-C charging port. Connectivity features will likely include 5G, 4G LTE Cat 16 4×4 MIMO, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, NFC, ANT+.
