Nokia and Flipkart Launch Six Android Smart TV Models in India at a Starting Price of Rs 12,999: Features, Sale

Nokia, in partnership with Flipkart, has launched 6 new TVs in India. These TVs are priced between Rs. 12,999 and 59,999 and will go on sale starting October 15th.

Nokia made a debut in the smart TV segment with 55-inch television almost a year ago in partnership with Flipkart. The company launched a more affordable 43-inch variant at a price of Rs. 31,999 back in June. Now, the company, in partnership with Flipkart, is expanding its range of smart televisions in India. Nokia, earlier today, launched 6 new TVs ranging between Rs. 12,999 and 59,999. All these TVs will be powered by the Android TV platform and will have Google Assistant and Chromecast support. With this new range of TVs, Nokia’s portfolio will go head-to-head against established brands such as Xiaomi, Realme, Motorola, and Vu.

  • 65-inch UHD 4K Smart TV – Rs. 59,999

These new smart TVs will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting 15th October in India.

Nokia 32-inch HD Ready Smart TV: The most affordable variant in the lineup of smart TVs packs a 32-inch HD panel that has 325nits brightness, 178-degree viewing angle, and 3000:1 contrast ratio. It packs a Quad-core Cortex A53 processor that gets coupled with Mali 470 MP4 GPU, 1.5GB RAM, and 8GB onboard storage. One of the major highlights of this TV is the presence of 39W speaker output, including 24W QuatroX speakers, and 15W tweeters, which makes it stand out against the competition. On the connectivity front, it comes with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and packs 3x HDMI, 2 x USB ports.

Nokia 43-inch FHD Smart TV: It packs a 43-inch FHD panel that has a 178-degree viewing angle, 325nits brightness, and 3000:1 contrast ratio. Under-the-hood, there is a Quad-core Cortex A53 processor that gets coupled with Mali 470 MP4 GPU, 1.5GB RAM, and 8GB onboard storage. Similar to the 32-inch variant, it packs a 39W speaker output, including 24W QuatroX speakers, and 15W tweeters. On the connectivity front, it comes with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and packs 2x HDMI, 2 x USB ports.

Nokia 43-inch UHD 4K Smart TV: This variant comes with 4K resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, and 3000:1 contrast ratio. The panel on the 43-inch UHD TV is HDR10 certified and has 350nits brightness. Under-the-hood, there is a Quad-core Cortex A55 processor that gets coupled with Mali 470 MP4 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB onboard storage. It packs a 39W speaker output, including 24W QuatroX speakers, and 15W tweeters. On the connectivity front, it comes with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and packs 3x HDMI, 2 x USB ports.

Nokia 50-inch UHD 4K Smart TV: It packs a 50-inch 4K panel that has a 178-degree viewing angle and a 5000:1 contrast ratio. The panel on the 43-inch UHD TV is HDR10 certified and has 380nits brightness. Under-the-hood, there is a Quad-core Cortex A55 processor that gets coupled with Mali 470 MP4 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB onboard storage. It packs a 48W speaker output, including 30W QuatroX speakers, and 18W tweeters. On the connectivity front, it comes with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and packs 3x HDMI, 2 x USB ports.

Nokia 55-inch UHD 4K Smart TV: All the specifications remain the same as the 50-inch UHD 4K variant, but the display panel on the 55-inch variant has 420 nits brightness.

Nokia 65-inch UHD 4K Smart TV: All the specifications remain the same as the 50-inch UHD 4K variant, but the display panel on the 65-inch variant has 450 nits brightness.

All these TVs come with Micro Dimming feature which ensures that every frame has optimum brightness and contrast to help you see every single detail. Nokia has partnered with Onkyo for the sound technology for the new range of TVs, and as a result, these TVs come with Onkyo surround sound certification.

The entire range of new Nokia TVs runs on the Android TV (Android 9.0) platform and will have Google Assistant and Chromecast support built-in. Similar to every other Android TV, these TVs will have support for over 5,000 apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube, and SonyLiv.
