
Nokia has officially announced its new C-series smartphone, the Nokia C02. Speaking about the specifications of the Nokia C02, it has a 5.45-inch display and a boxy design. The handset is powered by Unisoc processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery which supports 5W charging. The Nokia C02 sports a 5.45-inch display that has a 480 x 960 pixel resolution. The display panel has an 18:9 aspect ratio and thick bezels across the screen. Powering this new C-series smartphone under the hood there is a 1.4GHz quad-core Unisoc processor. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone also has microSD card support, allowing storage expansion up to 256GB.
As for the software, the Nokia C02 runs Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. The company will be offering two years of security updates for the handset. In terms of imaging, the Nokia C20 features a 5MP rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. On the front side, the device sports a 2MP selfie camera. The device also has an IP52 rating, a 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio support.
Connectivity-wise, this new C-series handset offers dual-SIM card support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and a microUSB port. A 3,000mAh battery is equipped with a handset which supports 5W charging. Dimensions-wise, the C02 measures 148.7x 71.2x 10mm and weighs 191 grams. The device comes in Dark Cyan and Charcoal colours. As of now, Nokia is yet to detail the pricing or availability of the phone.

To recall, the company had previously introduced its budget-oriented C-series smartphone, the Nokia C01 Plus back in 2021. The Nokia C01 Plus featured a 5.45-inch display with a 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. The newly introduced C02 retains the same design as that of the C01 Plus. Under the hood, the C02 was powered by Unisoc SC9863A processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The handset was launched with Android 11 Go Edition. It features a 5MP camera, both at the front, and rear, a 3,000mAh battery, and a micro USB port. The device has LTE support, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, a 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio support.
