Nokia C20 Moniker Gets Bluetooth SIG Certification, Expected to Launch on April 8

Nokia is holding an event on April 8, where it is expected to announce the Nokia G10, Nokia G20, Nokia X10, and the Nokia X20 smartphones. At this event, there are also strong rumours that Nokia could launch the Nokia C20 smartphone alongside. The Nokia C20 is in the news from the last few days, as the phone was spotted on the HTML5 test site. Now, ahead of the launch, the Nokia C20 has gained the required Bluetooth SIG certification. The Nokia C20 is believed to be an upcoming entry-level smartphone by Nokia. Let’s check out the details revealed by the Bluetooth listing.

Nokia C20 Clears Bluetooth SIG Certification

If we go by the listing, we can see that four Nokia C20 variants have gained the Bluetooth SIG certification. These variants bear the model number as TA-1352, TA-1356, TA-1339, and TA-1348 respectively. As per the Bluetooth SIG details, the Nokia C20 will offer Bluetooth 4.2 support. If the leaked specs of the device is to be considered, it is said to pack 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is even supposed to be another C20 variant which is expected to come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The chipset powering the device isn’t known as of now. On the software side of things, the Nokia C20 is said to run Android 11 out of the box.

The Nokia C20 might launch at a price of EUR 89, which translates to roughly Rs 7,680. The phone is supposed to be available in Sand and Blue colours options when it launches. The other details of the device such as its display size, camera configuration, and battery information remains to be unknown as of now. In the past, two Nokia C20 variants with model number TA-1352 and TA-1356 already have even cleared the TÜV Rheinland certification. The TÜV Rheinland certification had not revealed any details of the phone back then, except the model numbers.

We should get to learn more information regarding the Nokia C20 if it appears on Geekbench or any other certification prior to the official launch.
