HMD Global has confirmed a Nokia launch event on April 8. The company is expected to debut new C-series and X-series of smartphones. Alongside, Nokia could also launch the Nokia G10 on April 8. The launch event does not reveal much about any of the smartphones expected to launch on April 8. Based on the leaked details, we can expect the company to launch the Nokia X10, X20, C20, G20 and G10. The launch event will be hosted at 3 pm UK time. The launch event will also be live-streamed in India at 7.30 PM on the same date. Let’s take a look at the details of the upcoming Nokia smartphones launching on April 8.

HMD Global to launch new Nokia smartphones on April 8

HMD Global has confirmed a Nokia launch event on April 8. The company is expected to launch as many as six smartphones at the event.

The Nokia invite does not reveal much about smartphones. However, based on leaked specifications, we can expect it to unveil the Nokia X10, X20, C20, G20 and G10. Multiple details around the smartphones have leaked online.

Nokia G10, G20 

As per leaked information, the Nokia G10 will run on MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC. The smartphone will ship with 3GB of RAM on board and will run Android 11 out of the box. It will feature a 6.4-inch LCD. Considering it is a budget offering, we can expect the device to have an LCD panel.

The Nokia G20 is rumoured to get powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It will come with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal memory.

Both phones will come with a quad-camera setup on the back, as per NokiaPowerUser. They will have a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide sensor. The phones will also come with two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, there will be an 8MP front camera.

The phones will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support via USB Type-C.

Nokia X10, Nokia X20

The two Nokia X-series smartphones are said to feature 5G-compatible processors. According to NokiaPowerUser, the two smartphones will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. The 17481, will come with 6GB + 32GB storage, according to the report. We suspect that HMD Global could launch the variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage instead. It will launch in White and Green colour options. The X20 will launch for EUR 349. This is roughly Rs 30,300. It will come in a single 6GB + 128GB storage option. The device will launch in Blue and Sand colour options.

Other details suggest that the X20 will come with a quad-camera setup on the back. It will have a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide lens. The phone will come with two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera. It will pack a 4500 mAh battery with 10W charging.

Nokia C20

The Nokia C20 was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. As per the leaked specs, the phone will come with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is even supposed to be another C20 variant which is expected to come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 11 out of the box.
