HMD Global might soon launch a Nokia smartphone in India. The company has been launching several budget and mid-range smartphones under the C-series, G-series and X-series. Under the G-series, the company launched the Nokia G20 in India in 2021. It looks like a successor of the G20 is coming soon to India. A new report claims that the Nokia G21 India launch is imminent.
The 91Mobiles report states that the budget smartphone from Nokia will debut in February in India. The report has also listed some of the key specifications of the device. Let’s take a look at the Nokia G20 specifications, India launch timeline, and other details.
Nokia G21 launch in India
Nokia G21 will be a new budget smartphone in India launching next month. The device’s specifications have leaked ahead of the launch. As per the report, the Nokia smartphone will have a triple-camera setup on the back. The device will have a 50MP main camera. It will be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The device will also sport a 6.5-inch display. Since it is a budget smartphone, the phone will have an IPS LCD. The screen will have an HD+ resolution of 1600X720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It might feature support for a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there will be an octa-core processor. It is currently unknown which chipset will be packed inside the G21.
The phone is likely to come with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM along with up to 128GB of internal storage. It will also offer microSD card support. The device will come with connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS/A- GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
For longer battery life, the Nokia smartphone will pack a 5050 mAh battery. There is no word on the fast charging support at the moment.
