The Nokia 7.1 Plus, which is also known as the Nokia X7, will eventually be succeeding the Nokia 7 Plus (review), featuring improved hardware specifications and a price tag for buyers that do not want to spend excessively on a flagship handset. Well, turns out this device is going to be the ultimate solution when it comes to bridging the performance gap between mid-range devices and flagships. According to the latest leak, the pricing, as well as the hardware specifications of the Nokia 7.1 Plus have come forth, revealing so much information and that too just before the official launch that is expected to take place tomorrow.

Nokia 7.1 Plus Leak Revealing Hardware Specifications, Pricing Details
After the Nokia 7.1, we will be witnessing the imminent launch of the Nokia 7.1 Plus, which will be called the Nokia X7, most likely in China. Lots of valuable information has been leaked regarding the smartphone, including the presence of the Snapdragon 710. The Snapdragon 710 is going to be better than the Snapdragon 660 found in the Nokia 7 Plus, leading to better performance and battery life.
The screen size of the device is 6.18 inches, and it uses a TFT LCD screen, along with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. As you can tell from the images, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature a notch and chin bezel, with the Nokia logo found right at the bottom of the smartphone. Other internal specifications include 6GB of RAM, along with 128GB of onboard storage, and we strongly believe that this device will allow you to expand your existing memory via microSD card slot.
There is also going to be a front-facing 20MP selfie camera, but the dual-camera at the back is going to be far better than the optics present on the remaining mid-range Nokia phones. The specifications of this camera are 12MP+13MP, and our instinct tells us that the secondary camera will be capable of shooting telephoto images, rather than capturing wide-angle shots. This was the same feature present on the Nokia 7 Plus, granting 2x optical zoom to the smartphone, so our guess is that the same thing will happen here.
The battery capacity is going to be a 3500mAh unit, with the Nokia 7.1 Plus running the Android 8.1 Oreo update. Last, but certainly not least, comes the price. According to the tweet from MadSimar, 2,699 Yuan is the price of the Nokia X7 model, which converts into Rs. 28,828. This is not going to be the exact price when the smartphone officially lands in India, so we’ll keep you updated in the future.

The Nokia 7.1 Plus could launch as the Nokia X7 tomorrow in China, which is the 16th of October. If you check out the tweet, there is a different date mentioned; the 23rd of October. This could imply the sale date of the smartphone, and hopefully, like the Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will start getting sold in India in the near future.
