Nothing has launched its first product called the Ear 1. After a lot of hype and anticipation, the new truly wireless earbuds have been launched in India for under Rs 6,000. The Nothing TWS will go on sale on August 17 in India. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart. There is no word on the offline availability of the device at the moment. Nothing claims that the Ear 1 offers pure sound and a “State-of-the-art noise cancellation”. The earbuds and the charging case sport a transparent design to expose the engineering, including microphones, magnets and circuit board. Nothing Ear 1 launched in India

Nothing has launched the Ear 1 in India for Rs 5,999. The new TWS come with premium features like ANC and a transparent design. It will go on sale via Flipkart starting August 17. Each earbud weighs 4.7 grams and comes with silicone tips for better grip. The earbuds pack an 11.6mm driver, claiming to offer balanced bass, mid, and treble performance. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and can be connected to any smartphone running Android 5.1 or iOS 11 and above.

The earbuds feature ANC support, which uses the three in-built HD mics to cancel out outside noise. It also comes with two kinds of ANC modes called Light and Maximum. The former is suitable for moderate noise cancellation, whereas the latter fits well for noisier environments. It also supports Transparency mode to strike a balance between ambient noise and noise cancellation. 

Users can customise the gestures and touch controls via the Ear 1 app, which is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Additional features include Find My Earbud, EQ, in-ear detection, fast pairing, etc. The earbuds are sweat and water splash resistant.

In terms of battery life, users can expect up to 5.7 hours of listening time. Combined with the charging case, users will get up to 34 hours of battery life. The battery life will be lesser with ANC enabled. Ear 1 also supports fast charging and wireless charging. It is claimed to offer up to eight hours of listening time within 10 minutes of charge.
