Nothing Ear (Stick) true wireless earbuds have been launched globally and in India today. This is the company’s second product of the year after the Phone (1) debut in July and the third product under Nothing’s branding. The Ear (Stick) has been in the news for some time now and the company has been teasing it for a few weeks now.
This new TWS from the brand comes with an affordable price tag compared to the last-gen Nothing Ear (1). It also misses out on features like active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as wireless charging. However, it does bring a new case design. Let’s take a look at the Nothing Ear (Stick) in detail.
Nothing Ear (Stick) Price in India and Availability
The Nothing Ear (Stick) TWS have been priced at Rs 8,499 and will go on sale starting from November 17 via Flipkart and Myntra in India, while it goes for sale on November 4 across more than 40 countries globally that include the UK, USA and the EU. The new TWS will be available in the White colour option only.
Nothing Ear (Stick): Features
The first major difference comes in the form of fit compared to the Ear (1). The Ear (Stick) comes with a half-in-ear style design, which is quite different from the in-ear style on the Ear (1). This design sits less intrusively in the ear canal for a comfortable fit. Each bud weighs just 4.4 grams. On the inside, these buds come with a 12.6 mm dynamic driver setup with support for AAC and SBC codes. There is also a Bass Lock feature that prevents sound leakage.
The TWS offers three mics and the Ear (Stick) is capable of filtering out louder background noise. In terms of battery life, the TWS is rated to last up to 7 hours of listening time and up to 29 hours with the included charging case. With just 10 minutes of charge, the case and the TWS combine to offer up to 9 hours of battery life. The case comes with a Type-C port for charging and there is no wireless charging support here.
The case with this TWS is also transparent and it comes in a cylindrical shape. As for the controls, the Nothing Ear (Stick) offers tap and press and hold controls on both the buds. Other features include Bluetooth 5.2, IP54 rating, in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Nothing X app, Customise EQ and gestures, and Low lag mode with the Phone(1).
