Nothing has started rolling out a new software update for the Nothing Phone (1). The company yesterday took to its Twitter handle to confirm the release of new software update. This is the first update by Nothing since the release of Nothing OS 1.5 which was released last month. Speaking about the new update, it arrives in the form of Nothing OS 1.5.3 and is based on Android 13. The Nothing OS 1.5.3 software update brings new changes as well as fixes many bugs. Nothing OS 1.5.3 Software Update Released
As per the changelog, the Nothing OS 1.5.3 software update adds support for manually adding games to Games Mode. Furthermore, the update also brings smoother animation for the popup view, improved fingerprint transition between the lock screen and AOD, and improved stability. The update also includes a new memory management algorithm that reduces app restart times by over 35% and lowers CPU consumption to improve overall battery life.
The Nothing OS 1.5.3 update also adds new wallpapers and it also adds support for Ear (2). Apart from releasing new features, the company also has fixed some known bugs with the new software update. The company has fixed issue related to Glyph lights which did not show up for incoming WhatsApp calls. Additionally, the brand has fixed the freeze issue which occurred during YouTube video playback. The update also has a fixed issue related to whether data which did not show in the Quick Look Widget.
