In addition to revealing the timeline for the Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 stable release, Carl also revealed that the company plans to roll out Android 13-based Nothing OS beta update for the Nothing Phone (1) by the end of the year. Take a look at Carl Pei’s tweets below.
Carl has reiterated that Nothing won’t rush on updates at the expense of the user experience. He added that the company rolled out three updates for the Nothing Phone (1) within a month of launch in order to improve user experience and improve camera personality, battery life, and more based on the existing users’ feedback.

Carl also revealed that Nothing is looking to create some fun and interesting software experiences with the Nothing OS. To recall, the Nothing Phone (1) comes pre-loaded with Nothing OS 1.0 which is very close to stock Android. It will be interesting to see the additions that the upcoming version of Nothing OS will bring with it.
Nothing recently hiked the prices of the Nothing Phone (1) in India citing currency exchange rate fluctuations and rising component costs. As a result, the Nothing Phone (1) is now Rs 1000 costlier compared to the launch price in the country. This means that one needs to spend Rs 33,999 for buying the base variant of the Nothing Phone (1) in India.
