Nothing, back in July, made its debut in the smartphone segment with the Nothing Phone (1). Last month, Nothing announced a price hike of Rs 1,000 across all three variants after which the Nothing Phone (1) India price starts at Rs 33,999. The Nothing Phone (1) will be available with a discount of Rs 5,000 in the upcoming Big Billion Days on Flipkart which starts on September 23 (September 22 for Flipkart Plus members). A new banner on Flipkart reveals that the Nothing Phone (1) will be available for purchase for Rs 25,999 on September 20, 12:00 PM as a part of the Catch Me If You Can Sale. Do note that this effective price includes the bank offers as well as up to Rs 3,000 exchange bonus.
Nothing Phone (1) Specifications and Features
The Phone (1) flaunts a 6.55-inch OLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1200nits peak brightness. The smartphone makes room for the front shooter inside a corner punch hole notch and features Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Powering the Nothing Phone (1) is a mid-range octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor which brings with it up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device boots Android 12-based Nothing OS. Nothing has also promised three years of Android OS upgrades but it plans to roll out the Android 13 update for the device sometime in 2023.
The Phone (1) from Nothing relies on a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support. It gets accompanied by another 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens and an LED flash. For selfies, it offers a 16MP snapper.
The Phone (1) comes equipped with a 4,500mAh capacity battery. It supports 33W wired fast charging, 15W Qi wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Do note that the Nothing Phone (1) retail box does not contain a charging adapter.
