The Phone (1) flaunts a 6.55-inch Full HD+ flexible OLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, 402ppi pixel density, and 120 Hz refresh rate. The display panel supports 1200nits peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and HDR10+. The display panel houses an optical fingerprint scanner and also features Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, the smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and an integrated Adreno 642L GPU. The Snapdragon 778G+ is fabbed on TSMC’s 6nm process and brings with it up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage. The Nothing smartphone boots NothingOS, based on Android 12.
The Phone (1) offers a dual-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with 1/1.56-inch sensor size, an f/1.88 aperture, and 24mm focal length. It features OIS as well as EIS support. Accompanying the primary shooter on the smartphone is a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with 1/2.76-inch sensor size, 114° field of view, an f/2.2 aperture, and EIS.
The ultra-wide-angle lens on the device also doubles as a macro sensor and can let the user shoot from as close as 4cm from the subject. The smartphone offers a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with 1/3.1-inch sensor size and f/2.45 aperture.
Powering the Phone (1) is a 4,500mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support. The handset also supports 15W Qi wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. It features a Type-C charging port which also doubles as the audio output port. The smartphone also packs a stereo speaker setup and a triple-microphone setup.
