Nothing has released yet another update for the Nothing Phone (1). This comes before the Nothing Phone (1) Android 14 Beta 1 update, which the company is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. The latest Nothing Phone (1) update comes with version NothingOS 1.5.4 and weighs around 120MB. The update brings with it performance and battery life improvements.

Nothing took it to social media channels to share the news with the users. The company also says that the users can expect improved battery life on their Nothing Phone (1) after updating the devices to Nothing OS 1.5.4. Let us look at what the update has in store for Nothing Phone (1) users.

Nothing has added a new feedback feature with the Nothing OS 1.5.4 update. It allows users to share feedback with the company. Nothing also claims that users will not observe reduced standby power consumption as the company has optimised the 4G/ 5G network switching function.

Nothing Phone (1) Nothing OS 1.5.4 update also brings the ability to scan UPI QR codes directly through the camera app. In addition, Nothing has also integrated Google Safety Center with the latest update. The company also claims to have optimized Bluetooth function in Quick Setting, which now allows for fast access to paired devices.

In other related news, Nothing is gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (2), which will be more premium than its predecessor as per the company. The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor. The company has confirmed the Nothing Phone (2) launch timeline, which is summer 2023.
