Nothing Phone (1) Gets Another Update, Brings July Security Patch and More: Here’s the Full Changelog

The update also brings tons of camera improvements to the Nothing Phone (1). The brand has improved the clarity and reduced the noise that users encountered in low-light environments. The update also brings with it an improved dynamic range for low-light shots. Nothing says that it has also worked upon the colour consistency across both the rear sensors.

The update also brings a few bug fixes including improved battery life on standby. The brand has also updated the face unlock performance. The update also brings improved reliability of the Glyph Interface. Nothing is yet to confirm the update rollout and we can expect it to be a staged rollout.

The Nothing Phone (1) offers a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1200nits peak brightness, corner punch hole notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the handset packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device boots Android 12-based Nothing OS and is eligible for three years of Android OS upgrades.

The Phone (1) packs a 4,500mAh capacity battery and supports 33W fast charging support. It also offers 15W Qi wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone packs a a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens.
