ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has finally taken the veil off its Nubia Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone. The Nubia Red Magic 5S comes with a 144Hz refresh rate display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and support for 55W fast charging. The device is currently launched in China and is already up for grabs. Nubia Red Magic 5S: Price

The Nubia Red Magic 5S is launched in three memory variants – one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 3,799 or around INR 40,630, one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 4,399 or around INR 47,035, and the top-of-the-line variant with a whopping 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 4,999 or around InR 53,450.

Nubia Red Magic 5S: Specifications and features

Starting with the display of the device, the Nubia Red Magic 5S features a 6.65-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution. The device measures 168.56×78×9.75mm and weighs in at 220 grams.

Powering the Nubia Red Magic 5S is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software side of things, the Nubia Red Magic 5S runs on the latest Android 10 OS with Redmagic OS skin on top of it. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Nubia Red Magic 5S sports a 4,500mAh battery, which has support for up to 55W of fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.

Coming to photography, the Nubia Red Magic 5S features a 64MP primary lens with an Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, the device has an 8MP selfie snapper. Also at the front, the Nubia Red Magic 5S features an in-display fingerprint scanner owing to the AMOLED panel.
