At the starting of this month, the Nubia Red Magic 6 series phone was spotted on the 3C certification site with model number NX669J and NX669J-P. In the latest development, it has been reported that both the models have been listed on the TENAA listing revealing the design and both the handsets. Here’s a closer look at the TENAA listing of the Red Magic 6 series gaming smartphones.

Nubia Red Magic 6 series TENAA Certification

The smartphones with model number NX669J and NX669J-P have been listed on TENAA listing hinting towards an imminent launch in the Chinese market. The certification site also revealed that the gaming smartphones will be launched as the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro monikers. It seems that both the handset are going to arrive with a slightly thicker chin and forehead.

Further, TENAA certification also suggests that both gaming smartphones look identical. We have also noticed that the smartphones also look similar to the Red Magic 6S, which was launched back in 2020. The smartphones seem to house a triple rear camera setup at the back panel on a vertical strip placed at the centre. At the same strip, you can also see the Red Magic branding on both smartphones. Towards the right side of the panel, you can see a ‘06’ number.

Going with the TENAA listing we didn’t find a big difference in designs of the smartphones from the ones that recently appeared in the leaked render. Previous renders suggest that the gaming handset will arrive with a horizontal camera setup along with an X-shaped plate along with the Tencent branding aligned at the centre.

The smartphones were also spotted on 3C certification with the same model numbers. The listing suggests that the NX669J might arrive with a 66W fast charging support and the NX669J-P could pack a 120W fast charging support.

According to the previous leaks and rumours, the Red Magic 6 series is expected to come with an OLED display along with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset and fuelled with a 4,500mAh battery.
