Nubia has launched its new gaming smartphones in China. The company has launched two gaming smartphones, the Nubia Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro. The new gaming smartphones are already available for purchase in China. Nubia has introduced a new Red Core 1 chipset that is paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The new dedicated chip is exclusive only to the Pro model.

Both smartphones come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The gaming smartphones feature a high refresh rate display. The Pro model also comes with an under-screen front camera as well. Let’s take a look at the Nubia Red Magic 7 series price, specifications and other details.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Series Price

Nubia has launched the Red Magic 7 in a base 8GB + 128GB base option. This storage option is priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,100). The device also comes in 12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options, priced at CNY 4399 (roughly Rs 51,800) and CNY 4799 (roughly Rs 56,500). 

The company has also launched a special transparent edition with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB storage options, which are priced at CNY 4899 (roughly Rs 57,700) and CNY 5499 (roughly Rs 64,800). 

The Red Magic 7 Pro comes in three storage options – 12GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. The three storage options are priced at CNY 4799 (roughly Rs 56,500), CNY 5199 (roughly Rs 61,300) and CNY 5599 (roughly Rs 66,000). 

Like tha vanilla model, the Pro model also comes in transparent colour options. The device has four transparent storage options – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, 18GB + 512GB and 18GB + 1TB storage options. These are priced at CNY 5299 (roughly Rs 62,400), CNY 5699 (67,100), CNY 6499 (roughly Rs 76,600) and CNY 7499 (roughly Rs 88,300).

Specifications and Features

Both devices share many of the key specs. The devices come with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display. There is support for a 165Hz refresh rate on both models. They also draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The gaming phones also come with a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 64MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. This front camera is located under the display on the Pro model.

The vanilla model gets a 4500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The Pro model has a bigger 5000 mAh battery with 135W fast charging support. Nubia has packed a 165W GAN charger in the box.

The Pro model also gets a dedicated Red Core 1 chipset that is aimed at enhancing the gaming and audio experience. The phone also has shoulder triggers. Both devices get an ICE 8.0 cooling system that includes an RGB fan that spins at 20,000 RPM. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, etc. The devices run Android 12-based Red Magic UI out of the box.
