Nubia RedMagic 7 Series Gaming Smartphones Set to Launch in China on February 17: Expected Specifications

Nubia has confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone launch. The company will launch the RedMagic 7 series in China later this year. As per reports, at least two gaming smartphones under the Nubia RedMagic 7 series will debut in China. The two gaming phones will launch on February 17.

Some key details of the upcoming RedMagic gaming smartphones have leaked in the past. As expected, the Nubia gaming phones will feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset. There is currently no word on the launch outside China. However, Nubia could launch its gaming smartphones in other markets later this year. Nubia RedMagic 7 series launch

Nubia is confirmed to launch the RedMagic 7 series in China on February 17. The company will launch the RedMagic 7 and a Pro model alongside. The launch invite does not reveal much about the upcoming gaming smartphones. However, a lot about the devices has leaked, courtesy of various certification websites.

Both devices will support 165W fast charging and are likely to pack a 4500 mAh battery under the hood. The global variants are tipped to support only 65W fast charging in comparison. They will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Nubia is expected to launch the devices in multiple storage options. The Pro model could come with up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

At the front, the devices are tipped to feature a 6.7-inch display. The vanilla model is expected to feature a Full HD+ OLED display. We can expect the Pro model to come with a 2K screen. Both devices will support a 165Hz refresh rate as well.

On the back, the vanilla model is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup. It will have a 64MP main camera sensor. The camera module is also likely to feature an 8MP ultrawide camera sensor and a 2MP macro/ depth sensor. For selfies and streaming, the phone will have a 16MP front camera.

There will be some sort of a thermal cooling mechanism that will keep the heat under check. Both devices will run Android 12 out of the box with a layer of RedMagic UI on top.
