Nubia recently launched the Red Magic 7 series. The company launched two new gaming smartphones called the Red Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro. The two devices feature top-of-the-line specifications found on an Android flagship in 2022. Days after the launch of its gaming smartphones, the company has launched another premium offering in the form of the Nubia Z40 Pro.
Nubia Z40 Pro Price
Nubia has launched the Z40 Pro in multiple storage options in China. The base 8GB RAM variant has 128GB of internal storage and is priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 40,500). It also comes in an 8GB + 256GB storage option, which is priced at CNY 3699 (roughly Rs 44,100). The company is also offering two 12GB RAM options with 256GB and 512GB storage options. They are priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,700) and CNY 4499 (roughly Rs 53,700).
The company has also launched a magnetic charging edition with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB storage options, which are priced at CNY 4299 (roughly Rs 51,300) and CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 71,600).
Specifications and features
The Z40 Pro features a 6,67-inch curved AMOLED display. The 10-bit screen has a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate support. At the top centre is a hole punch cutout for the front camera. The phone has a 16MP front camera. On the back, there is a rectangular camera block sitting next to the Nubia branding.
The device has a triple-camera setup featuring a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor. It comes with OIS support. There is also another 50MP ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view. Lastly, the phone comes with an 8MP telephoto camera with 9x pericope zoom.
Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM, depending on the variant you choose. You get up to 1TB of internal storage. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery, which supports 80W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The Z40 Pro is also the world’s first Android smartphone to feature magnetic charging support. The phone runs Android 12-based MyOS 12 out of the box. It comes with dual speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, etc.
