Galaxy Note 9 DeX cable on sale at Amazon

The Galaxy Note 9 DeX cable is a more elegant setup for users who want to access their phone contents on their PC or desktop monitor. Samsung’s DeX cable costs $49.99, but Amazon is selling it for the lower cost of $31.01. The DeX cable features DeX compatibility (for which it is named) along with 4K UHD TV support, 60Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.2 technology. It is a USB Type-C-to-HDMI cable, which means that it is compatible with Samsung’s USB Type-C smartphones: the Galaxy S8, S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9 and S9+, and the Galaxy Note 9.

Older smartphones that rely on micro-USB charging are incompatible with the Note 9 DeX cable. The original Galaxy S8 DeX charging port mandates the user to “dock” his or her smartphone on a charging pad before screen sharing with a PC or desktop monitor. While this allows for PC-like functionality with Samsung Galaxy smartphones, it also means that users need to carry one more device when traveling.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 India Launch Date Officially Confirmed to be August 22

The Galaxy Note 9, announced back in August, continues Samsung’s strong tradition of its most prestigious smartphone line. It features a 6.4-inch, Super AMOLED Infinity Display, Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC, and 6GB RAM/128GB and 8GB RAM/512GB variants. IP68 water and dust resistance certification returns, but Samsung has added a 4,000mAh battery for longer stamina. Dual rear cameras also return to the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung’s beastly phone runs Android Oreo (8.0, 8.1) with the expectation of an Android 9.0 Pie upgrade at some point in the near future.

The price tag of the Galaxy Note 9 stands at Rs. 67,900 (128GB) and Rs. 84,900 (512GB), making it the most expensive smartphone Samsung has ever made. Pricing in the Indian market is excellent as compared to pricing in markets such as the US, where the Galaxy Note 9 comes in at $999 (128GB) and $1249.99 (512GB).

With a deal this fabulous, you should head over to Amazon and pick up the new Galaxy Note 9 DeX cable – while supplies last.
