After much waiting, the OMG 2 trailer is now here. The movie, in which Akshay Kumar plays a “messenger of Shiva,” tells the tale of a father’s battle for his son’s access to education. Pankaj Tripathi portrays the father in the movie. OMG 2, directed by Amit Rai, will square off against Sunny Deol’s next action movie Gadar 2 in a significant Bollywood showdown.

Since releasing the movie’s posters and trailer, OMG 2 has remained largely unnoticed.  A one-minute, 26-second teaser for the movie, was released by the movie’s producers last month.

When and Where to Watch OMG 2

We have already told you that since Viacom 18 is one of the producers of the movie, it is natural that the movie comes to Jio Cinema. However, there is no official announcement made by the makers.

Official Trailer and Plot

The movie’s trailer opens with Lord Shiva directing his devoted Nandi to dispatch one of his messengers to Pankaj’s Kanti Sharan Mudgal, whose son has been expelled from school for engaging in “vulgar” behaviour. Kanti has brought a lawsuit before the court, but he is also the accused. As a lawyer, Yami Gautam squares off against Kanti in court, and Shiva’s messenger leads him in the correct direction.

Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi play the lead roles in the movie. Viacom18 Studio in association with Cape Of Good Films & Wakaoo Films has presented the movie. Amit Rai directed and wrote the movie.

Controversies with OMG 2

Even before it was released, OMG 2 was at the centre of controversy. There was a lot of rumour around the movie’s censor certification, with sources claiming that it was sent to the revision committee of the Censor Board of Film Certification. Given the present political atmosphere, the movie’s alleged discussion of religion was regarded as problematic.

OMG 2 was given an A (Adult) rating, and the board provided the producers with a list of changes to make before the movie’s theatrical distribution. The CBFC list of adjustments includes the elimination of frontal nudity images, the alteration of images of what is referred to as “sculptures of unnatural sex,” and the inclusion of actual locations like Ujjain. Additionally, the list demanded that the creators get rid of a poster of a condom ad.

Reception

The trailer of the movie was released barely four hours ago and has 5,274,180 views from audiences. This shows the anticipation the movie has created among the viewers.
