Samsung is among the leading manufacturers to have started rolling out the latest Android 13 update. The company has already released the latest update for its Galaxy S22 series phones. All three Samsung Galaxy S22 models have received the new One UI update. Samsung is also rolling out the One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 to other premium phones. A couple of days ago, the Galaxy A53 5G was among the first A-series phones to get the new One UI 5.0 update. Samsung has now rolled out its new Android 13 update for the Galaxy A33 5G as well.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Gets One UI 5.0

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G users in some European markets are getting the new One UI 5.0 update. The new Samsung update is based on Android 13. It is about 2GB in size and has version number A336BXXU4BVJG. The update also brings (via) the October 2022 security patch for the device.

The update also introduces Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in the Gallery app, which recognises text in images and allows users to copy and paste it into other apps. There have been improvements made to Samsung DeX and Bixby as well.
