The OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China in January and soon, the flagship phone is expected to be unveiled in the Indian as well as global markets like the US, UK, and more. According to the previous leaks, the OnePlus 10 Pro is said to make its debut by the end of March in India.
Now, as per the latest report, the OnePlus 10 Pro Global model will run on Oxygen OS 12 out of the box instead of the previously expected Unified OS. Let’s take a more detailed look at the OnePlus 10 Pro’s software skin for the global regions including India.
OnePlus 10 Pro Will Run on OxygenOS 12
As per the report from 91mobiles, the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is expected to launch in March in India and soon in other markets will run on OxygenOS 12 out of the box, which will be based on Android 12. As per the previous reports, the device was expected to launch on Oppo and OnePlus’s Unified OS platform, as a result of the merger.
However, tipster Yogesh Brar has said that the launch of unified OS has been delayed and as a result, the latest flagship from the company will run OxygenOS 12 out of the box.
In China, the device runs on ColorOS 12 and the company is currently developing a Unified OS platform for OnePlus devices, which we should hear more about in the coming months. Along with the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro, globally, we are also expecting the launch of the OnePlus 10 and we might also see the OnePlus 10R, which was also leaked a few weeks ago. The OnePlus 10R will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and will sport a 120Hz AMOLED display, with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

As for the OnePlus 10 Pro, the device is confirmed to go on sale in India in Spring this year, which is not too far away. In terms of specs, the 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and 1440 x 3612 screen resolution.
In terms of optics, you get a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor (Sony IMX 789), a 50MP ultra-wide secondary lens with 150-degree FoV, and an 8MP telephoto snapper. Selfies are handled by a 32MP camera on the front. The phone packs in a huge 5,000mAh battery, which is backed by an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.
