OnePlus 10T 5G Design Renders, India Variant Specifications Leaked; No 16GB RAM Option Tipped

OnePlus 10T 5G is set to make its global debut on August 3. The company has confirmed that the new premium Android smartphone will launch in India and be available for purchase soon via Amazon. OnePlus has confirmed some key specifications of the 10T 5G ahead of its launch.

The upcoming 10T 5G will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. OnePlus has also revealed the camera specifications of the phone. Other details have been leaked by the rumour mill, one of which claimed that the 10T 5G will come with a 16GB RAM option. It looks like the 10T 5G 16GB RAM option will launch in some markets but not in India.

A new report by PriceBaba, citing tipster Ishan Agarwal, claimed that the Indian variant of the 10T 5G will not offer 16GB of RAM. OnePlus will instead launch the phone with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. The base 8GB RAM model will have 128GB of internal storage, whereas the 12GB RAM variant will have 256GB of internal storage. According to the leaked details, the base 8GB RAM option will be priced at Rs 49,999, whereas the 12GB RAM option will be available for Rs 54,999.

OnePlus will also announce a special Rs 1,500 bank discount offer, which will bring the price down to Rs 48,499. Other details of the phone have leaked as well.

The 10T 5G will launch in two colours – Jade Green and Moonstone Black. It will have a 10 Pro-like camera module design. The triple-camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

At the front, there is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The display has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the 16MP front camera.

OnePlus will pack a 4,800mAh battery. The device will pack 150W fast charging out of the box. OnePlus 10T 5G will also run Android 12-based Oxygen OS 12.1 out of the box. The phone will not feature the iconic alert slider because there was not enough space in the device, according to the company. The sale date will be announced at the 10T 5G event on August 3.
