- OnePlus 11 Concept features Active Cryoflux cooling technology.
- It can reduce the temperature of the device during charging and gameplay.
- This is the second concept from the company after the OnePlus Concept One.

OnePlus launched its flagship smartphone, OnePlus 11 a couple of days ago in India and in other global markets. The company has now unveiled its OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. This is the second concept device from OnePlus. Back in January 2020 during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), it unveiled the OnePlus Concept One with colour-shifting glass technology and an invisible camera.
OnePlus calls its latest innovation – the OnePlus 11 Concept. It features a new active cooling technology, Active CryoFlux on the back with a unique design. Let’s know more about the OnePlus 11 Concept launched at MWC 2023.
OnePlus 11 Concept Design and Features
The OnePlus 11 Concept features a unique design on the back compared to the original OnePlus 11 model. It has pipelines on the back that has micro-liquid flowing into it. Something similar can be seen in the camera module, it has icy-cold Active CryoFlux liquid flowing around the camera island while the lens area is bordered by Guilloché etching. The whole back setup is framed with a magnetron-spluttering coating that is metal and alloy depositing in tiny amounts onto the case using an electric field.
Do note that the micro-liquid flowing pipelines on the back are not just gimmicks but serve a special purpose too. OnePlus claims that Active Cryoflux – the main feature and a cooling technology in the OnePlus 11 – reduces the phone’s temperature by up to 2.1℃. This gives an edge to gamers by increasing the frame rate by 3-4 fps.
The Active Cryoflux material can also reduce the phone’s temperature by 1.6℃ while charging. This is claimed to reduce around 35 to 40 seconds of charging time.
OnePlus Concept One
The OnePlus Concept One attracted a lot of audience towards it due to its leather finish and invisible camera features. It had an electrochromic glass that was used to make cameras disappear when not in use. Sounds cool, right? The idea was taken from McLaren’s concept for some of its sports cars whose sunroofs can become opaque to block out the sun.
Furthermore, the electrochromic glass doubled up as an ND filter for the cameras, which levels the shadows and highlights to capture more detail in the photographs. The back of the device is wrapped up with McLaren’s signature Papaya Orange coloured leather.
