OnePlus 11 First Leaked Live Image Reveals Sandstone Back Finish Like OnePlus One

OnePlus 11 is confirmed to launch in China on January 4. The company has confirmed that it will launch its newest flagship Android smartphone in India on February 7. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has teased the specifications and design of the upcoming flagship phone. The company has mostly been teasing the rear panel of the phone. The teasers so far have revealed that the phone will launch in two colours — black and green. We saw the same colour options being available for the OnePlus 10 Pro. Now, live images of the OnePlus 11 5G have leaked online.

The live images reveal the phone’s rear and front panel design. It also shows the textured back of the OnePlus 11, which might remind you of the original OnePlus One smartphone. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus 11 5G design, live images and other details known so far.

OnePlus 11 Design Revealed

The OnePlus 11 5G will launch in two colours — Green and Black. The latter is likely to sport a sandstone-like finish on the back after looking at the leaked live images. Shared by 91Mobiles, the images reveal that the rear panel has a matte finish with grainy textures on it, which is reminiscent of the OnePlus One days. OnePlus called it the Sandstone finish back in the day. 

The rear panel live image also shows the new camera design, which now sits inside a glossy, circular cutout. There is the Hasselblad branding at the centre of the camera array.

The report also reveals the front of the phone. It shows that the upcoming OnePlus 11 will sport a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. This is unlike many other flagship smartphones, which feature the cutout at the top centre of the display. The power button and the alert slider are on the right edge, whereas the volume rocker is on the left.

OnePlus 11 Specifications: What We Know So Far

Other details about the flagship OnePlus smartphone have leaked online. The phone will sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with curved edges. The phone is expected to offer 120Hz refresh rate support. It will also feature a 32MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout.

The company is also expected to introduce significant upgrades in the camera department. There will be a 50MP main camera, which will most likely use a Sony IMX890 sensor. Alongside, the phone will also feature a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP telephoto sensor. The telephoto sensor is likely to capture up to 2x optical zoom.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will launch with 12GB/ 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is rumoured to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer 100W fast charging support. In case you are wondering, there will not be any sort of wireless charging support.

The phone is also expected to launch with Android 13 out of the box. The Chinese variant will run ColorOS 13 out of the box, whereas the Indian unit will boot Oxygen OS 13 on top.

OnePlus 11: Expected Price

OnePlus will announce the official pricing at the January 4 event. The India pricing will be announced at the February 7 event. A recent leak revealed that the phone will be priced between Rs 55,000 and Rs 65,000. Looking at the number of upgrades and how it sits very close to the OnePlus 10 Pro, we can expect the phone to be priced at around Rs 60,000 at least for the base model.
