OnePlus 11 India launch date has been announced. The company has confirmed to host its first flagship smartphone event on February 7 in India. At the event titled Cloud 11, the company will unveil its latest flagship products. OnePlus confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will mark the return of two user-favourite features — Hasselblad-tuned cameras and the alert slider.
The company has already teased the camera module design of its new flagship phone. There is a triple-camera setup and an LED flash module placed inside a circular camera cutout that sits on the rear panel. Alongside the OnePlus 11 5G, the company will also launch its new flagship truly wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
Moniker-wise, the OnePlus 11 5G will replace the OnePlus 9 5G since the company did not launch the OnePlus 10. However, based on the leaked specifications, the device could well be a successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro. According to the rumour mill, the phone will pack some Pro smartphone hardware. This includes a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is curved and will sport a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the 32MP front camera.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 11 5G will feature Qualcomm’s latest SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will pack a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, according to the rumour mill. The phone is also said to come with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The triple-camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP telephoto sensor.
OnePlus is expected to launch the phone in two colours. The company has already teased the black colour option. There is a green colour variant of the phone as well. It will launch with Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13 out of the box. Regarding the India price, we can expect the phone to be priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 60,000 at least for the base model. OnePlus will announce the official sale date and offers at the launch event.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to Tag Along
The company has also confirmed the launch of its flagship Buds Pro 2 TWS at the OnePlus 11 India launch event. OnePlus stated that the upcoming premium TWS will deliver a “full-bodied, stereo-quality audio experience with crystal clarity.”
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 design renders have leaked in the past. The renders suggest that the TWS will sport the same design as the current generation model. The earbuds have a stem design, with the top half featuring a matte finish, whereas the bottom half is glossy. Each earbud is said to come with angled ear tips for a better fit.
The charging case will also sport the same pebble-shaped case. OnePlus will partner with Dynaudio for tuning the earbuds. The earbuds will pack 11mm and 6mm dual drivers. They will offer features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 45db, spatial audio, support for LHDC 4.0 codec, etc.
Each earbud is rumoured to offer up to six hours of battery life with ANC enabled. Without ANC, users can expect to get up to nine hours of battery life. The charging case will contribute to offering between 22 and 38 hours of battery life. It will also support fast charging and wireless charging.
