OnePlus Is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone. The company will launch the OnePlus 11 in the coming weeks in China and other markets. The device will be a true successor to the OnePlus 9 since there was no OnePlus 10 5G this year. The rumour mill expects the OnePlus 11 5G to launch in January 2023. While we wait for some official details about the launch timeline, a new leak has revealed the colour options of the upcoming OnePlus flagship device.

The leak comes from tipster Max Jambor, who has previously shared accurate information about OnePlus phones months before their launch. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus 11 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.

OnePlus 11 5G Will Launch in Two Colour Options

The OnePlus 11 5G will be launched in India and other markets in at least two colour options. Tipster Jambor claims that the Black colour option is here to stay. The Black colour variant of the 11 5G will have a matte finish. The second colour option for the OnePlus 11 will be green. It will have a glossy texture on the back. The colour options are the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, which was launched earlier this year in Volcano Black and Emerald Forest.

We would certainly like OnePlus to experiment with more colour options as the premium lineup has been pretty much available in the two colours mentioned above.

The company has confirmed that its upcoming flagship phone will get the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Other details, meanwhile, have leaked online. The phone is said to sport a taller display compared to the outgoing model. It will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen is also likely to be curved and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. These features have previously been found in the more premium Pro models.

OnePlus is rumoured to launch the phone with a ceramic back panel and a metal frame. The device is also said to sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The leaked design renders reveal the rear camera module sporting a circular-shaped design and extending into the frame. The device is rumoured to get a new camera setup on the back. The leaked camera specifications suggest that the phone will feature a new 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front camera.

OnePlus might launch the phone with up to 16GB of RAM. Under the hood, the phone is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and an alert slider. Lastly, the phone will run Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 out of the box.

The device is likely to launch in India in January alongside the global launch. OnePlus is yet to confirm any details about the India launch timeline of its flagship. We will share more details as and when available. Meanwhile, let us know your thoughts about the 11 5G in the comments below.
