OnePlus 11R 5G Red Vegan Leather Edition Launching Soon in India?
The teaser shared by the brand reveals that the upcoming device will be an Amazon exclusive, similar to its other products. OnePlus has shared the “R.3.18.512” text and is coming soon tag in the poster. However, the image’s URL on the Amazon website carries the “Udon Red” label. For those unaware, the OnePlus 11R has the codename “Udon,” and “Red” indicates that OnePlus will debut a new smartphone variant in India.
The statement shared by OnePlus in a press release confirms that OnePlus will launch a red colour variant of a smartphone soon in India. OnePlus adds that the “Red” colour offers an adrenaline rush in the body of OnePlus users. OnePlus launched the OnePlus 11R smartphone in Galactic Silver and Sonic Black colour options in India.
The smartphone was a rebranded variant of the OnePlus Ace 2, which debuted in China along with the vanilla OnePlus 11 5G smartphone. OnePlus launched a red vegan leather option for the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone in April 2023. There were many previous rumours that OnePlus will debut the leather edition of the OnePlus 11R smartphone soon in India.
However, OnePlus only debuted the special edition of the vanilla OnePlus 11 5G smartphone in India. The red vegan leather variant of the OnePlus Ace 2 came with red leather material and stitching on the sides. OnePlus also shipped the smartphone in China with a customized box with Genshin Impact characters. The upcoming OnePlus product will likely debut ahead of Amazon’s Great Indian Festival scheduled for October 8.
