OnePlus is likely to unveil its next flagship at the end of this year. If the rumour mill is to be believed, the OnePlus 12 will launch in China in December. The global launch event might be hosted in February 2024. We are months away from the launch of the next OnePlus flagship but it has not stopped the rumour mill from revealing some key details about the upcoming Android flagship phone. The latest leak reveals some of the key specifications of the OnePlus 12 5G.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the full specs of the phone. Based on the leaked details, it is safe to say that the OnePlus 12 will feature a new camera system. The phone will also get a powerful performance unit under the hood. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus 12 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.

The OnePlus 12 5G will take on the next generation of Android flagship smartphones launching in India and other intentional markets. The phone might debut in the last quarter of 2023. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the key specs of the phone. He claims that the OnePlus 12 will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary camera with support for optical image stabilisation and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The phone is also said to feature a 64MP sensor with a periscope lens on top. A recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the phone’s primary camera will have a sensor size of about 1/1.4x. The tipster also added that the periscope lens will offer up to 3x optical zoom.
For selfies, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 32MP front camera. According to Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 12’s camera system will be tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad.
Brar further revealed that the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. Qualcomm will unveil its new SoC in October at the Snapdragon Summit. However, leaked details suggest that the SoC will have a quad-cluster setup with a key emphasis on performance. Qualcomm will reveal more details at the official event in October.
The OnePlus 12 is also said to pack a beefy 5400mAh battery under the hood and offer 100W fast charging support. There will also be support for 50W wireless charging, which will be an upgrade over the outgoing model that does not offer any wireless charging support.
The device will boot on the latest Android 14 update. Depending on the region of launch, it will boot ColorOS 14 or Oxygen OS 14 out of the box.
On the front, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED display. The hole-punch cutout has been moved to the top centre for the front camera. The screen will offer a 2K resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. Lastly, there will be some form of IP rating as well.

Design renders of the phone have leaked in the past, showing minor changes over the OnePlus 11 5G. The phone is also said to launch with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The upgrades might attract a higher price but the exact details about the same are under wraps.
