OnePlus 12, Ace 2 Pro: What is Known So Far?
The OnePlus 12 5G will likely launch in the last quarter of 2023 with some top-of-the-line specs. The phone’s display details have leaked online.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via), the device will feature an OLED display which will be sourced from Samsung Display Corporation. The screen will have curved edges and also sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. OnePlus 11 also has a curved display but the hole-punch cutout is located at the top left corner. If the leaked details are true, OnePlus might finally join other Android OEMs who launch their flagship phones with a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout. The display will offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate and come with a QHD+ resolution as well.
The phone is likely to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which will launch in October. Therefore, there are chances of the OnePlus flagship phone launching in China in November or December 2023. This could be followed by a global launch in January or February 2024.
The device is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 64MP periscope sensor. Under the hood, there will likely be a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
Details about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro have leaked as well. DCS claims that the device will feature a curved-edge OLED display with a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout made by BOE. The screen will feature a 1.5K resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels.
Some leaked details suggest that the Ace 2 Pro will sport a 6.74-inch panel. It is also said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 5000mAh battery. The device is also said to launch with two charging options. The base configuration will offer 100W charging, whereas the faster charging option will feature 150W charging. It is likely to boot Android 13-based ColorOS 13 in China.
