OnePlus 6T Rumoured Hardware and Features

Thanks to a ton of leaks, almost all details regarding the OnePlus 6T have been disclosed even before its official launch. The leaked AnTuTu score reveals just how competitive a performer the OnePlus 6T really is. Apart from topping the benchmark charts for AnTuTu, the listing has revealed a lot of its key features. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 6.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Like many of the 2018 smartphones, the OnePlus 6T will have a notched display. However, it will feature a teardrop launch, like that found on the OPPO F9 Pro and OPPO F17 Pro.

Under the hood, lies the Snapdragon 845 SoC. This is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s no doubt that the device will also be available in different storage configurations, offering more internal storage. However, do bear in mind that the price will vary accordingly. In the camera department, the phone boasts of 16MP + 20MP dual-rear camera setup and a 20MP front-facing camera. The device is said to be powered by a 3,700mAh battery and run on Android 9 Pie operating system. While it would have been nice to see this feature on the OnePlus 6, the company claims that it was still making refinements to the technology to make it perfect and reliable.

OnePlus 6T India Launch Date, Price, And Purchasing Details

A while back, OnePlus had confirmed the global launch date for the OnePlus 6T as 30^th of October. However, this date isn’t too favourable as OnePlus would have to share the spotlight with Apple. Apple had sent out invites for the launch of new iPads and Macs on the 30^th of October too. Owing to this, OnePlus has preponed the launch of the OnePlus 6T smartphone to 29^th of October. Maybe launching the smartphone a day earlier will put all eyes on the OnePlus 6T. For India the launch data remains unchanged i.e., October 30.

A leak has even revealed the alleged European pricing of the OnePlus 6T. If this leak is to be believed, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 6T will retail for 559 EUR (INR 46,700 approx.). The 8GB + 128GB model will be priced at 589 EUR (INR 49,100 approx.), while the top-end 8GB + 256GB will bear a slightly higher price tag of 639 EUR (INR 53,400 approx.). As expected, the device will be available on the OnePlus online store, Amazon.in, and even offline via Reliance Digital Stores. The OnePlus 6T is likely to compete with the flagship smartphones of other manufacturers. All in all, it seems to be a pretty good smartphone, both in terms of looks as well as hardware specifications.
