OnePlus 6T to go on Sale in the UK on November 6 as OnePlus Partners With Select Retailers, Networks

OnePlus is all geared up to launch its much-expected flagship so far, the OnePlus 6T. The company has been particularly vocal about this smartphone. The OnePlus 6T is expected to come with some extraordinary features and impressive designing. The device will be launched on October 30. Ahead of the launch, the company has announced its partnership with major UK retailers for the distribution of the upcoming OnePlus 6T in the country.

OnePlus 6T to Go on Sale in the UK on November 6

On its official forum, OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 6T will go on sale in the UK on November 6. The company has partnered with select retailers and trusted networks in the country to stock the device. The operators Vodafone and EE will come together with O2 to offer the OnePlus devices. And, popular retailers John Lewis and Carphone Warehouse will sell the OnePlus 6T, which would be the company’s most widely available product.

OnePlus states that this is an important milestone for them in the UK as they make a move towards their 5th Anniversary. “We’ve always been driven by a desire to provide the ultimate user experience with our products. However, this experience should begin long before our device is in your hands. We want to give you as many options as possible to discover our products, and with our new partners, getting your hands on our latest flagships has never been easier”.


OnePlus 6T Global Launch On October 30

The OnePlus 6T will be launched globally at an event in New York on October 30. Interestingly, the company will be hosting a parallel launch event in New Delhi, India at 8:30 PM IST on the same day. The company will also live-stream the event on YouTube. In India, the first sale is scheduled to commence at 12 PM on November 2 on Amazon. You can also pre-order the device from Amazon now.

One of the major highlights of the OnePlus 6T will be its ‘Screen Unlock‘ technology, powering the in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will feature a teardrop notch at the top. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the OnePlus 6T will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC and is expected to be offered in two memory configurations: 6GB  RAM + 128GB onboard storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. OnePlus has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack with the OnePlus 6T. It will be fuelled by a larger 3700mAh capacity battery with Dash charging technology. The device will reportedly feature an improved gesture-based navigation, which will help users switch between two recently used apps quickly. The OnePlus 6T will ship with the latest Android 9.0 Pie. There is no information on the exact pricing of the device.
