The OnePlus launched earlier this week. The latest flagship Android smartphone from OnePlus has once again managed to garner the world’s attention with its powerful internals and all the relevant upgrades including a durable in-display fingerprint scanner, teardrop notch, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. With stellar hardware, OnePlus chose to also deploy some interesting design choices. The Mirror Black variant sports a shiny mirror finish, while the Midnight Black has a sandstone finish. Now the company is gearing up to launch a third color variant of the OnePlus 6T smartphone.
OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Press Renders:
A couple of days back a reputed leakster, Ishan Agarwal, spotted the new Thunder Purple variant of the device on the OnePlus India support page. Apparently, a drop-down menu that allows buyers to choose their OnePlus smartphone had a listing that clearly mentioned Thunder Purple colour variant of the OnePlus 6T smartphone.
Now we have the official looking press renders of the OnePlus 6T in the new Thunder Purple color option. Incidentally, this is not new for OnePlus. After the initial launches, the OnePlus 6 was later released in Silk White and Red editions. The same cosmetically treatment was done for the OnePlus 5T which later was available in a Star Wars Limited Edition variant.
The press renders apparently do a great job of highlighting the OnePlus 6T in the new color. Given the OnePlus history, it is quite likely the Thunder Purple could be one of several new color options the company could be discussing. Moreover, the company may also indulge in producing some limited edition of the OnePlus 6T bearing some exclusive brand or movie.
OnePlus 6T Hardware Specifications and Price
The latest flagship Android smartphone from OnePlus, the OnePlus 6T, features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It sports a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC powers the smartphone. The premium Android handset launched in three memory configurations. These include 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB + 256GB storage. The smartphone packs a 16MP + 20MP dual-rear camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera. A 3700mAh battery with Fast Charging support, powers the OnePlus 6T. The 6GB + 128GB costs INR 37,999, the 6GB + 256GB model costs INR 41,999 and the high-end 8GB + 256GB model costs INR 45,999.
