OnePlus has launched OnePlus Assured Upgrade program in India for the OnePlus 6T smartphone. It can be purchased at an additional cost of INR 199. Users enrolling in the OnePlus Assured Upgrade program will get a guaranteed buyback value of 70% if the device is between 3 to 5 months old, 55% buyback value if the device is 6 to 8 months old, and 40% buyback value if the device is 9 to 12 months old. However, keep in mind that OnePlus will only buyback the device if you upgrade to a new OnePlus smartphone. The brand will not buy back the device in exchange for cash.
The OnePlus Assured Upgrade is only available for new OnePlus 6T (review) smartphone buyers; existing OnePlus 6T users can’t be a part of this program. According to the press release, users will get the buyback value based on the purchase amount of the device. The OnePlus Assured Upgrade program will be available to purchase on Amazon India, and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. More importantly, it can only be purchased between 19th January 2019 to 27th January 2019.
