OnePlus really wants you to buy its upcoming flagship smartphone that is due to launch next week on 14 May. The OnePlus 7 Pro was offered on pre-bookings up until a few days ago, and the phone maker is now planning on setting up pop-up events around the country where fans can not only try out but also purchase the new smartphone. These OnePlus limited stock pop-ups will commence from 7 PM on May 15 at 7 of the top metropolitan cities in India – Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Ahmedabad. Those who show up will be one of the first people to get a chance to buy a OnePlus 7 Pro.

On the 17th of May, at Amphitheatre, Select City Walk, New Delhi, OnePlus will host a one-of-a-kind ‘OnePlus Experience Pop-Up.’ This experience zone will again commence from 7 PM that day and is intended to be a place where fans can come together and take part in a bunch of activities together. Other than the opportunity to buy a OnePlus 7 Pro, the phone maker will host a plethora of events including gaming leagues, and workshops for content creation and photography.

Those who show up early at any of these pop-up events will also stand a chance to get their hands on exclusive OnePlus merch and goodies including, OnePlus Type-C Bullet Earphones, vouchers for Amazon and Netflix, OnePlus smartphone cases, OnePlus tote bags, and OnePlus ‘Never Settle’ t-shirts.

In the most recent of leaks, the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to feature a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED screen that bears a 3120 x 1440 pixel resolution, 516 PPI pixel density, and 90Hz refresh rate. Just like its predecessor, the one Plus 7 Pro will offer an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone is expected to offer a bezel-less experience by moving the selfie camera to a pop-up module. This is said to be a 16MP sensor, while the back of the phone is expected to house a 48MP + 16MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP (telephoto) setup.

The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will get faster UFS 3.0 storage which should offer noticeable improvement to performance. The phone will also come with the latest version of Oxygen OS based on Android 9.0 Pie. The battery is expected to measure 4000mAh and should offer support for 30W Warp Charge.
