Now, in a recent development, OnePlus is releasing the OxygenOS Open beta software update for the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. The newly rolling out software update for the OnePlus 8 lineup brings June 2021 security patch, and the ability to take screenshots of Always-on Display (AOD). The newly rolling out software release for the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro arrives in the form of OxygenOS Open beta 11. On the other hand, the company is also rolling out OxygenOS Open beta 6 software update for the OnePlus 8T. The changelog of both these new updates is the same. In this new release, OnePlus is rolling out the latest June 2021 security patch for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T. Apart from this, as per changelog, OnePlus also has improved the power consumption performance to extend battery life on these handsets. With this new software release, users now can take screenshots of Always-on Display (AOD).


These new OxygenOS beta update also has also improved the audio experience when the phone is connected with the OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Buds.
