It’s been a while since OnePlus announced the international launch of new its OnePlus 8 series devices. While OnePlus has already started selling the devices in several countries, the India-launch of the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro stands delayed because of the ongoing lockdown. Today, however, we received an indication that OnePlus could start the sale of both the OnePlus 8 devices starting May 11.

A new landing page for the OnePlus 8 series has appeared on Amazon.in where buyers can prebook either of the handsets and avail a bunch of pre-booking offers. Note that even though you can pre-book your OnePlus 8 device now, the actual order will only be processed after May 11.

As far as the offer is concerned, OnePlus 8 buyers have the option to earn up to Rs 1000 as cashback if they pre-book the OnePlus 8 or the OnePlus 8 Pro between April 29 and May 11. Note that instead of directly pre-booking the device, what needs to be done here to confirm your OnePlus 8 series booking by purchasing a OnePlus gift card worth Rs 1000 or more.

The landing page details the steps you need to take to avail this offer

  1. Purchase a OnePlus gift card from the e-mail gift card section on Amazon.in by clicking this link.
  2. Choose a denomination greater than Rs 1000 for the gift card and purchase it any time between April 29 and May 11. You will get details of the gift card on your registered e-mail ID.
  3. Between May 11 and June 30, purchase any of the OnePlus 8 devices.
  4. Within 30 days, you will receive cashback worth Rs 1000 on your Amazon Pay wallet.

OnePlus 8 Offer

Once again, do note that while you can pre-order either the OnePlus 8 or the OnePlus 8 Pro in this manner, there is no guarantee at this time if Amazon would be able to fulfill the order given the current circumstances – especially considering that most states plan to extend the COVID-19 lockdown to well beyond the current May 3 timeline.
