OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 11.0.8.8/11.0.9.9/11.0.10.10 to the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. The update brought in the Bitmoji AOD feature, new Android security patch level, and optimized the portrait mode effect of the front camera for the OnePlus 8 series handsets. Now, in a recent development, OnePlus has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update to the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. The new update is rolling out for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T. The update brings in October 2021 security patch, bug fixes, Files by Google app, and minor improvements.

New OxygenOS Update Brings October 2021 Android Security Patch To OnePlus 8 Series

The newly rolling out software update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro arrives in the form of OxygenOS 11.0.9.9, whereas the OnePlus 8T gets it as OxygenOS 11.0.10.10/11.0.11.11. As per the changelog published by OnePlus, the new software update brings in October 2021 Android security patch for these three devices. Additionally, with this new software release, OnePlus is adding Files by Google app to the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T. The update also brings improved system stability and fixes some known issues. Here’s the changelog of the update below:
