OnePlus has rolled out a new update for the OnePlus 8T. The new Oxygen OS update version 11.0.6.8 fixes an issue that users experienced in the previous update. Users claimed that the video playback paused abnormally after they updated their OnePlus 8T to version 11.0.6.7. the company has now patched the issue with a followup update. The new Oxygen OS 11.0.6.8 update changelog mentions that the issue has been fixed. Rest of the changelog is the same as the previous update. OnePlus had rolled out the Oxygen OS 11.0.6.7 update to OnePlus 8T last week. The update came with a bunch of new features and additions. This included an India-exclusive OnePlus Store app and some bug fixes. However, users complained that the video playback paused frequently after they updated their devices to the version 11.0.6.7. OnePlus then paused the rollout and has now released a fresh update.
The new update (Oxygen OS 11.0.6.8) has the same changelog as the previous version. However, the incremental patch fixes the video playback issue that paused automatically after the previous update.
The version number for India is Oxygen OS 11.0.6.8.KB05DA. For European users, the patch update version number is 11.0.6.9.KB05BA. The Oxygen OS update has also been rolled out to North American users with the number 11.0.6.8.KB05AA.
