OnePlus is gearing up for the OnePlus 9 series launch. The company has confirmed the launch of three smartphones – The OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and 9R. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has confirmed some key OnePlus 9 Pro specifications. The latest teaser reveals the battery capacity and the charging details of the OnePlus 9 series. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the 9 series will feature a 4,500 mAh battery. The device will come with 50W wireless charging support as well. OnePlus 9 series confirmed to feature 4,500 mAh battery with 50W wireless charging

OnePlus 9 series will debut on March 23. Ahead of the launch, the battery size and charging specifications have been confirmed.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 9 series will come with a 4,500 mAh battery. It will also come with 50W wireless fast charging. A previous report claimed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with 50W wireless charging tech, whereas the standard 9 will feature 30W wireless charging.

Lau claims that the 50W wireless charger can charge the device from zero to 100 percent in 43 minutes. Using the 65W wired fast charging, the device can be charged in 29 minutes.

The OnePlus 9 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch WQHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 3,216 x 1,440 resolution and 526PPI. It will also come with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate LTPO display, which OnePlus will call the Smart 120Hz. It will also come with HDR10+ certification with a wide colour gamut.

Under the hood, the phones will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is likely to be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus smartphone series will come with a charger in the box.

On the back, the 9 Pro is confirmed to come with a quad-camera setup. The device is confirmed to feature a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Some of the leaked camera specifications reveal that the 9 Pro will come with an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3.3x optical zoom and a 2MP depth sensor.

OnePlus has also officially revealed the Winter Mist colour of the vanilla OnePlus 9. Previously leaked renders reveal that the vanilla 9 will come in Stellar Black, Artic Sky, and Winter Mist colours. The OnePlus 9 Pro will come in Astral Black, Morning Mist, and Pine Green colours, as per leaked renders.
