OnePlus 9R 5G Visits TENAA Ahead of Launch, Two Color Options Tipped

OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus 9 series smartphones, the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 9R 5G later today. These devices are subject to numerous leaks in the past, and we even saw OnePlus confirming few specifications of these handsets ahead of the official launch. The OnePlus 9R 5G was spotted at India’s BIS certification recently with model numbers LE2101, and LE2121. Now, in a recent development, the OnePlus 9R 5G has made an appearance at China’s TENAA certification just hours before the official launch.

The OnePlus 9R 5G is listed on TENAA certification with model number LE2100. The device will offer a 5G connectivity support, as revealed by the TENAA listing. Currently, the certification doesn’t reveal any detailed specifications, nor any render of the device, except that it only showcases the model number and 5G support option. Additionally, we still don’t have any details such as the phone’s display size, camera configuration exposed in the past. However, we have now some information coming in regarding the colour options the phone will launch in. Renowned leakster Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo that the OnePlus 9R 5G will launch in two colour options that include: Blue and Black island.

The OnePlus 9R 5G is said to be a more affordable device in the OnePlus 9 series. The smartphone is supposed to include a gaming trigger accessory, which could be sold by OnePlus separately. The inclusion of the gaming trigger was confirmed by OnePlus India a few days ago. If we go by the other details of the phone, it might pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC. We can expect the device to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Powering the smartphone could be a 5000 mAh battery that might offer up to 50W fast charging support.

The OnePlus 9R 5G is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the software side of things, the smartphone is said to ship with Android 11 out of the box with OxygenOS UI globally. We should get to learn more details regarding the official specifications, pricing, and availability of the device when it launches later today.
